Woke up early at 7am and the clouds are super cloudy till no view in sight so went back to sleep and woke up at 9+am. Wanted to head to the theme park early so that we can have more time visiting Strawberry Farm and Bukit Tinggi, that is if time permits.
Here’s the view from my hotel room on 2nd day.
In the end, we went out about 10+am, had breakfast at Marrybrown and then head to the Theme Park.
Marrybrown Sunny Delight RM10.80, MB Egg&Cheese Burger RM5.50, add on for ice milo RM1.20. Total (with tax) RM18.55.
Then off to theme park we go! We bought the indoor & outdoor package at RM66 for a whole day of unlimited rides! Wooohooo!
We started off with the Spinner and got dizzy! But it was a good start to keep my heartbeat in sync! =)
Then moved on to the pirate ship, go kart, hunted house and SPACE SHOT! I love it so much as the view from the top is SUPER AWESOME! AND freaking high!
Due to the queue, we rode on all rides only once. So by about 2pm, we proceed out to the Genting Skyway Cable Car to get down to Gohtong Jaya. Where we take a free shuttle bus to the Strawberry Farm!
Remember I mentioned Bukit Tinggi earlier on? Yes, I had the intention to go to Bukit Tinggi but because time do not permits, we gave up that idea. According to the taxi driver, the journey takes 1 hr and Bukit Tinggi closes at 7pm. I can’t remember the cost of taxi for going back and forth. Sorry! =) Please go if you have the time. I heard it’s beautiful!
The cable car ride offers you such a breathtaking view of the forest under and the mountains of nearby forest and clouds! It was a long 3km ride from Genting Highland to Gohtong Jaya and it moves pretty fast yet safely down the steep ropes! I’m glad I didn’t cry like I did in Langkawi! =) Genting Skyway Cable Car RM12/pax for rtn ride.
Look at how STEEP that is! Aaaarggh!!
Be careful when you reached Gohtong Jaya bus terminal. There will be taxi drivers trying to push you their service by saying that you have to wait 30mins for the bus, etc. It cost RM10 for 1 way up. It’s pretty expensive. Would be best if they could go by meter fare!
The free shuttle bus has got a Genting Highland written outside and just ask the driver where to stop for Strawberry Farm & he’ll let you know. Now, my biggest mistake was, I didn’t ask him where to board the bus to go back to Gohtong Jaya and what time is the last bus.
So we ended up walking to Gohtong Jaya Cable Car. A good 5-10mins walk where you can enjoy and take your time to breathe in the freshest air possible in Genting! I really like it! And best of all, you don’t sweat!
Cute Ride huh?… But I love the fountain most! Can I have 1??… ^_^
It’s drizzling and that explains the wetness of the area. But very cooling!
That staircase there leads you to Lavender flowers!
Look at how RED the strawberries here are! 100gm is RM6! or just buy the ready packed at RM15! I picked a few strawberries and ended up paying RM12 for about 200gm! =)
Had fun looking through the farm! Next we head on to the mushroom farm! No pics since my battery went dead on me. !_!
As mentioned earlier, I regretted for not having to ask the driver on where and when I should wait for the bus to go back to Gohtong Jaya Cable Car. So we wasted about 45mins waiting for the bus but none was seen. In the end, we decided to walk. It was the best decision ever! No kidding! I’m serious! ‘Cause we’re overjoyed by the feeling of having to walk a few distant in a cool & delightful breeze without sweating and the ability to breathe in the freshest air ever! Singapore’s air ain’t as fresh as this! The greens around you, the clouds passing by, it’s just my kind of thing! And his too! Plus points!
It took us about 5-10 mins of walking and save us RM10! Yay! Right when we saw the Gohtong Jaya Cable Car building, rain starts pouring! Thank goodness we’re sheltered by then! Now, as you know, some tourist or visitors prefer to stop at Gohtong Jaya and ride on the cable car to get to Genting Highlands. So it was pretty crowded when we reached there and we had to wait about less than 30mins to get on the cable car.
We enjoy the cable car ride so much that we felt saddened towards the end of the journey. Both of us took our time to look around and appreciate the view while it last and have a moment of silence just to feel grateful for the experience.
Since it was still early, we went back to the hotel for a short rest and to recharge my camera’s battery to resume our activity after dinner!
We had Hotpot Steamboat for dinner! For this, I agree that it was pretty overpriced for such a limited options of food selection and desserts. I would prefer Seoul Garden as compared to this! But, undoubtedly, the Tom Yum’s pretty good! I ate almost about 20 crabs? =) Ok, we paid RM92.55. Yeah, very expensive right? Oh wells. *Sigh*
Anyway, some pics I managed to snap:
Done with dinner! Where to next? Continue with our Indoor Theme Park! First stop! Euro Express! It was a fun short ride! Nothing so thrilling about it but it’s lightness feel spells fun! No pics as I missed it! Next, bumper ride! Yay!
But what I hate most is that, there’s alot of kids queuing up for the ride. I mean there’s a separate junior bumper car for kids and this is the only most fun attraction for adult in the Indoor Theme Park but there are too many kids that causes the long queue. But thanks to them that there are people to play with otherwise there’ll be quite a few adults playing. Well, I had extreme fun running away from getting bumped and instead bump into people! Hahahhaaaa! Next, 4D time!
Indoor Theme Park’s done! Next, we chill out near to the outdoor theme park where the clouds takes turn to pass by and lets us enjoy it’s cooling sensation that just makes you breathe in and smile!
We had another round of window shop, yup, the shops are still open up till 12am. Then went back to our room and have a good rest.
