Rumah Terbalik, The Upside Down House of Borneo

Now, this is one place which I hesitated to go because I was pretty sure that there will be nothing interesting except that all things including the house will be in upside down. But we decided to go anyway. So after visiting Kota Kinabalu City Mosque (link to post), we head over to Rumah Terbalik. It is located along the main highway leading to Mt. Kinabalu, Kiulu Rafting and many other districts. So you can come by if you are heading those ways.

The ticket cost RM 18 for non-Malaysians, RM 10 for Malaysians with My Card Holder, RM 5 for children. Please note that no photography are allowed in the ‘House’ but you can take some photos outside of the house where there are props around for you to be creative with.

Somehow we manage to have fun looking around at the way they build this place and taking pictures. So if you ask me is it worth going? Well, it all depends on you. If you would like to see how it is like, you should. Otherwise, you may want to use your money for more better experience like Kundasang…

Have you been to the rumah terbalik before? How do you find it? Till then…

Xoxo;
