Yaya & I decided to go back to our cousin’s village at Rengit, Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. As usual, we spent most of our time enjoying great food cooked by dearest cousin with the company of our nephews and nieces and just going back and forth to the wet market daily every morning for a fresh supply of fish, meat and vegetables at a price you can’t even get in Singapore. A very laid back way of life I treasure most compared to the extreme fast pace kind of life in Singapore.
This time, we’ve planned a surprise for the kids – To bring them out to Wet World Batu Pahat for a day trip with 3 other relatives as well.
We had to split into 2 cars and the journey takes about less than an hour drive from Rengit.
Weekdays – 1pm to 7pm
Weekends, public & school holidays – 10am to 7pm.
Closed on Tuesdays except for public & school holidays.
Weekdays & Weekends:
RM1O (adult, 135cm & above)
RM8 (child, 85cm – 135cm )
Child rate applies for children aged 3-12 years.
Telephone: 607-434 6060
Fax: 607-433 6161
Please note that this Wet World is very very basic. It’s not anything like Singapore’s Wild Wild Wet, Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh or the famous Sunway Lagoon in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur (KL). This is super super mini basic Wet World for families who just wanna have a splashy time together somewhere in JB and enjoy seafood thereafter.
Wet World Batu Pahat can really be improved and cleaned up often. I love the slides where we get to seat together holding hands and just crazily laughing and yelling some words together. It was awesome. The kids just made it awesome. Their laughter and smiles while splashing each and everyone of us made time stop for the moment. I’m truly missing those moments as I’m writing this down. Can’t wait for our next wet trip to… You’ll find out end of 2015.
The food here is a bit pricey. They say no food and drinks allowed. But if you need to bring in some food & drinks, you probably may if they do not check upon entering. But whatever you eat or brought, please please throw your litters away in the rubbish bin provided. Let’s keep our world clean and green.
We were here for almost a whole day on a weekend, from 11am to 5pm and there wasn’t much crowds. We definitely have the place to ourselves and truly had a great time as a family. Come here if you are in Batu Pahat or around Johor!
Thank you cousins for driving us here!

Seems like a lot of fun.Loved the family group photos.
Thank you soo much! It was a lot of fun indeed. Especially where there’s water! =) Have a great day ahead!
That looks fine, though it looks really basic as you said.
In fact, the first Wet World in Shah Alam was basic too as compared to other major water theme parks here. I still remember the pride when it first opened (since I stay in Shah Alam) and how cheap the ticket was back then (RM 4!)
Yup, true, it is infact fine but I just have to compare and allow other readers to know so that they would not expect much out of it… 🙂 that’s one of the reason why i love malaysia… having fun with family isn’t that expensive in some places… what the Shah Alam water park use to cost only rm4?? woww. lucky. how much is it now?…
Admission Fees (Normal, School & Public Holidays)
130cm & above – RM20
90 – 130cm – RM16
Below 90cm – FREE
🙁 So expensive for such a small park.
wow! that’s such a biiig difference ya! agree. a tad too expensive for small parks.. i rather add abit more n go Sunway Lagoon. 😉
